Kids on Neptune was formed in 2012 when the guitarist and singer Antonio Valentini and the drummer Giovanni Chiodi met at a university party. On march 2014, the bass player Matilde Marchetti joined the band, giving new impulse (and intensifying the creation of new songs).
From their different background, the three members of the band gave birth to a dynamic and desertic sound, marked out by grunge, punk and stoner rock influences.
After two years of live shows in their hometown, Forlì, and in the neighbouring provinces of Bologna, Ravenna and Rimini, on July 2016 Kids on Neptune sign for the Italian-indie-label Seahorse Recordings.
On March 2017 Giovanni quit the band, due to personal reasons, and was replaced by Alberto Carapia.
